“The Tide of Calypso” (in German: Calypso’s Gezeiten) washed once-legendary rum casks that were filled with Irish whiskey from King Finvara’s coast, filled with Irish whiskey. After maturation in ex-bourbon and Oloroso casks, “The Tide of Calypso” received a six- month finish in Appleton Rum Casks. Notes of vanilla, toasted wood, and caramel are followed by hints of stone fruit and spices. The cask already brings depth and warmth to the nose. Round on the palate, you’ll find a balanced mix of toffee, vanilla and sweet cereals.The toasted wood is also noticeable.
