The origins of Heffron rum can be traced back to the distillery in Las Cabras de Pese, Panama. This distillery is a partner of the Green Tree Distillery, the oldest distillery in Europe. Heffron's spiritual father is master blender Francisco Fernández, also known as "Don Pancho." Heffron's 10-year-old rum matured for over a decade in carefully selected sherry, bourbon, and cognac casks. During this time, the casks were able to impart its individual character to the fine spirit. The result is a masterful composition that combines a harmonious variety of flavors and aromas. Renowned master blender Francisco Fernández created this exclusive blend especially for Heffron, produced in cooperation with the Green Tree Distillery in Panama.
