Inspired by its namesake, the Gaelic goddess Neachneohain, known for her huntress skills, Scotland's leading organic distillery picks up the trail of exceptional flavors in its limited-edition Huntress series.
To achieve this, Nc'nean enjoys experimenting with fermentation, as demonstrated by this year's bottling, Huntress 2025: Lemon Meadow. The experimental subject: a yeast strain from French sparkling wine production. Matured in a combination of STR Red Wine Casks, Bourbon Casks, and Oloroso Sherry Casks, the result is a creamy, delicious, and subtly floral whisky with aromas of lemon sorbet, fresh chamomile, and shortbread.
